Introduction


BrightBuild FSP ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting the privacy, confidentiality, and security of the personal information we collect and manage. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard personal information in compliance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) HIPPA and CCPA  and applicable US &  Canadian privacy laws.

This Privacy Policy applies to all personal information collected through our website, business operations, client engagements, software platforms (e.g., Secapp, IPFusion), and any services provided by BrightBuild FPS.

We may collect the following types of information:

  • Client Contact Information: Name, job title, company, phone number, email address, and mailing address.
  • User Credentials: When creating accounts for software platforms, we may collect usernames and role-based identifiers.
  • Device & Usage Data: IP addresses, browser type, operating system, access dates/times, and actions taken on our systems or partner platforms.
  • Communications Data: Records of inquiries, messages, and support requests.
  • Emergency Response Data (for Secapp/IPFusion users): Limited operational data used to support mass notification and smart system integrations.

  • Improve our offerings and user experience

  • Authorized Service Providers or Partners: such as Secapp or IPFusion, to provide services and technical support.

  • Emergency Services: Where permitted and necessary for safety or emergency response.

All third parties are required to maintain confidentiality and use information solely for the purposes we specify.

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.

  • Depending on platform requirements (e.g., Secapp servers), we may store data in Canada, Finland, or other jurisdictions.
  • All cloud platforms we use follow industry-standard security practices, including data encryption and access controls.

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected or to meet legal requirements. Information no longer required will be securely destroyed or anonymized.
